PHILADELPHIA - The Temple lacrosse team (9-3, 5-2 AAC) won their fifth straight game Friday afternoon, defeating the East Carolina Pirates 13-7 (3-10, 1-6 AAC). Meghan Hoffman starred with seven assists, tying the school single-game assist which has stood for 40 years.
Recapping the Game
> Temple struck first and struck early. Only 1:15 into the game Abaigael Ryan scored the opening goal. It was the first assist of Hoffman's historic day.
> Things quieted down after that, and it took over eight minutes for the next goal to find the back of the net.
