PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple gymnastics team hits the road on Friday for the Owls' first away meet of the season. The Cherry & White will travel to new EAGL rival, Towson, to compete in SECU Arena, alongside another new conference foe in NC State.

Temple began a new era on January 16, opening competition as a member of the EAGL for the first time in program history. The Owls spent 14 seasons in the ECAC, coming away with two titles, before making the leap to the EAGL this year. Temple joins Long Island University, another newcomer to the conference (and the NCAA!
