PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple gymnastics team is set for its first ever Eastern Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Championship. The Owls will travel to the University of Pittsburgh on Saturday to compete in the evening session of the meet, which begins at 7:00 p.m. Joining the Owls on the floor will be #2 Towson, #6 Pittsburgh, and #8 LIU. #1 NC State, #3 UNH, #5 UNC, and #7 George Washington will compete earlier in the day, with scores from both sessions being combined and ranked to determine final placements.
Temple finished its first season in the EAGL ranked an impressive fourth out of eight teams, and Owls have climbed to 39th in the nation in the latest NQS rankings.
