PHILADELPHIA – On Wednesday, senior Ariana Castrence picked up her second straight EAGL Gymnast of the Week award announced by the league.
Castrence picked up the all-around title on Sunday during Senior day, but during her two stints during all-around competition last week, she would score 39.275 both times, marking the third time in her career she would tally the third-highest score in school history. On Thursday, the Waldorf, Md. native would win the vault event with a career-high 9.9. She also helped the beam team to the best score (49.325) in school history with a career-high 9.
