PHILADELPHIA – Under the lights at Rhodes Field #23 Temple men's soccer earned its fifth consecutive win Sunday evening with a 3-0 victory over Soccer Six rival Penn. With this win, the Owls are off to their best season start since 1985 when the team won 13 consecutive games and saw a trip to the NCAA tournament.
"Overall I thought it was a great game," said head coach David MacWilliams. "I thought the guys really came and played well. Penn was a very tough team and it was one of the better games the guys have played all together.
