ELLINGTON, Conn. - Fresh off a sixth-place finish at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate, Temple Golf stays on the road with a trip to the Connecticut Cup this weekend. The Owls will compete in the 12-team field at the three-day event with one round each day starting Thursday at the Ellington Ridge Country Club.
Previewing the Tournament
> Junior Conor McGrath, who leads the Owls with a 74.0 stroke average, comes into the tournament following the best collegiate round of his career, a 67 on the final day at the Golden Horseshoe.
> Senior Dawson Anders, who had his best outing of the season this week at the Golden Horseshoe (+2, t-3rd), ranks second on the team at 74.
