WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Senior Dawson Anders and junior Conor McGrath tied for the best round of the day, shooting three-under 67s to lead Temple Golf to a sixth-place finish at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate Tuesday. As a team, the Owls improved nine strokes from their best round on Monday, carding a four-over 284 in moving up one spot in the 16-team field.
Recapping the Day
> Anders had six birdies on the day, including three straight on holes six, seven and eight, to completed his brilliant afternoon on the course. It was his best round since 2018 when he set a Temple freshman record with a 65 at the Cleveland Palmetto Golf Intercollegiate.
