PHILADELPHIA - Two Temple lacrosse seniors, Morgan Glassford and Brenda McDermott, added to their list of awards by getting named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team this past weekend. The pair were also recently honored as All-BIG EAST First Team selections.
The Owls, seeded fourth in the tournament, came up against top-seeded and #2 Florida in the semifinals on May 4. Temple battled, but a few big runs for the Gators put the game out of reach as the Owls lost, 21-9. McDermott tied her career high with five goals in her final game, while Glassford posted four draw controls and a caused turnover.
