Keyshawn "KP" Paul joins the Owls after two seasons as a member of the UConn Huskies. Paul, a junior, entered the transfer portal after the Huskies opted not to field a team in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Miami, Florida, native played defensive back in all of UConn's games in 2019 and all but one during his freshman campaign in 2018. During the 2019 season, he accumulated 36 tackles, 2.5 TFLs and an interception.
While attending Jackson High School, Paul was a three-sport athlete. He played football, basketball and ran track and field.
As a transfer from a former American Athletic Conference institution, Paul joins the Owls with familiarity of what the conference consists of.
