Amad Anderson Jr. joins the Owls from Purdue University where he played wide receiver for two seasons after redshirting during 2018, his freshman year.
Over the course of his three years with the Boilermakers, he compiled 36 catches for 362 yards and three touchdowns. Anderson made his collegiate debut in the 2019 season opener against Nevada when he caught 7 passes for 64 yards.
The Staten Island, N.Y., native brings a broad skill set to the Owls. Some wide receivers are possession players while others are known for their speed. Anderson is simply a playmaker.
