IRVING, Texas- The Temple men's soccer team has been named fifth in the American Athletic Conference 2021 men's soccer preseason poll, as voted on by league coaches. Goalkeeper Eoin Gawronski headlines the individual awards, as the redshirt freshman has been named the AAC Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year by unanimous vote. He is the first Owl to be awarded Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year since Dan Scheck in 2014.
Gawronski enters his third season with the Temple men's soccer program following an outstanding 2020-21 season. The keeper made his collegiate debut last season, coming in at halftime against USF to relieve the struggling starter.
