PHILADELPHIA, PA.- The Frank and Barbara Broyles Foundation announced today their nominees for the 2018 Broyles Award, which honors college football's top assistant coaches. The list of 53 nominees includes Temple's Offensive Line/Run Game Coordinator Chris Wiesehan.
Wiesehan tutored a mostly experienced Owls' offensive line which has only allowed 11 sacks on the year. Jaelin Robinson (LT), Jovahn Fair (LG), Matt Hennessy (C), Vincent Picozzi (RG), and James McHale (RT) entered the year as the starting group. Hennessy has played especially well under Wiesehan, consistently grading out on PFF as one of Temple's top overall performers.
