ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conferences (MAC) and Executive Director Ken Andrews announced the MAC Hall of Fame Class of 2019. This year's class, the eighth class, has 20 inductees from current and former member institutions, including Temple wide receiver Jim Callahan.
A standout for Temple from 1966-68, Callahan set numerous Owls' records. An outstanding pass receiver, he accomplished the incredible by scoring touchdowns the first 10 times he touched the football. Upon graduation, he held the Temple records for longest touchdown pass caught (90 yards), most touchdown passes caught in a season (14), most touchdown passes caught in a career (36), most yardage gained pass receiving in a career (1,848), most touchdowns scored in a season (14), and most touchdowns scored in a career (36).
