GREENVILLE, N.C. – In the first conference game of the Rod Carey era, Temple took down ECU XX-XX in front of 33,253 fans at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. At kickoff, the temperature was 85 degrees, making it the hottest game played in October at ECU since 2000.
Despite early penalties on both sides of the ball, the Owls used a balanced attack on offense and continued to prove why they are one of the best defenses in the country. Temple has given up just one touchdown over the last two games. RB Re'Mahn Davis had his second consecutive 100-yard rushing game and had a career best 157 yards on 24 carries for one touchdown.
