PHILADELPHIA – The Temple University Football team is determined to do its part to help the local community during the national pandemic. To that end they have created a challenge to raise money to help two local food pantries to help those in need. The benefactors are Philabundance in Philadelphia and the Food Bank of South Jersey.
The first step was a lead gift from head coach Rod Carey who began the process with a $3,000 donation to each organization. "Many school kids only get fed one good meal each day and that's while they are at school.
