PHILADELPHIA - On a short week, Temple (2-1) will travel down to Tampa, Fla. to take on the No. 21 USF Bulls (3-0) in a primetime Thursday night matchup on ESPN.
The Owls are coming off their second straight win over the UMass Minutemen, 29-21. In the game, redshirt sophomore QB Logan Marchi had his third straight 200+ yard performance, throwing 22 of 37 for 248 yards and three touchdowns. The three touchdowns mark a career best for the Bristol, Conn., native. Marchi also found 11 different receivers in the game.
Junior RB Ryquell Armstead saw his best performance of the season with 91 rushing yards on 17 carries.
