ANNAPOLIS, Md.- The Temple Owls continue rolling through conference play as they take down the Navy Midshipmen 24-17 in front of 30,106 fans at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The Owls are now 4-3 on the season and 3-0 in American Athletic Conference play.
Temple's passing offense clashed with Navy's triple option run game, and the air attack came out on top. Despite time of possession being lopsided in favor of Navy 33:07-26:53, Temple took advantage of the time they had on the field and worked efficiently and methodically to put up 24 points in the win. The Owls did out gain the Midshipmen 409-284 and also had 21 first downs to Navy's 18 in the victory.
