Football Celebrates Homecoming with Thrilling 30-28 win over #23 Memphis

PHILADELPHIA – Temple used a big-play defense and a well-rounded offense to defeat #23 Memphis, 30-28, in front of a Homecoming crowd of 34,253 fans at Lincoln Financial Field. Temple, which has now defeated two nationally-ranked opponents in a season for the first time in program history, improves to 5-1, 2-0 in the American Athletic Conference. Memphis loses for the first time this season and falls to 5-1, 1-1 in AAC play.
