EASTON, Pa. - Senior Alyssa Delp scored twice while senior Tricia Light recorded a goal and two assists as Temple field hockey earned a 4-1 win at Lafayette on Sunday afternoon. It was the third straight win for the Owls and was nearly a shutout as they held Lafayette scoreless until the final second.
Temple (6-12) out-shot Lafayette 13-8, and led the game 3-0 at halftime. Lafayette's goal came as time expired, and was scored on only its second shot of the second half. For the Owls it was their final non-conference game of the season, and they have one regular season game remaining at BIG EAST foe Villanova on Saturday, Oct.
