PHILADELPHIA - The Temple field hockey team topped No. 20 UConn Friday afternoon 3-2 in overtime, the first time the team has defeated UConn since 1989 and the first time the team has defeated a ranked opponent since 2016. With the win over the Huskies, the Owls match their win total from last season and qualify for the BIG EAST Tournament for the second-straight season.
