PHILADELPHIA - In what was an overall evenly matched contest on the stat sheet, extra saves by Fairfield allowed the Stags (3-1) to come away with a 2-0 win over Temple field hockey on Sunday afternoon at Howarth Field. The Owls (0-4) took eight shots on goal to Fairfield's seven, but all eight were saved by the Stags' Zoe Rosen.
