NORFOLK, Va. - The BIG EAST Championship is on the line for Temple field hockey as the Owls get set to play #2 UConn for the league title at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8. Temple advanced to the title game by way of a thrilling come-from-behind 2-1 overtime win against Villanova in Friday's semifinals.
The championship game can be seen live via the BIG EAST Digital Network through the Fox Sports Go app or website.
Temple tied Friday's game on a goal by senior Alyssa Delp with 1:39 remaining in regulation, and then senior Tricia Light scored the game-winner with less than two minutes remaining in the first overtime period.
