PHILADELPHIA - Temple fencing had a record-setting year in 2016-17, and the Owls celebrated all their successes at their annual banquet on Sunday, April 30. At the banquet, which was held in a private room at Dave & Buster's, Temple handed out some special awards and honored its seniors.
Three seniors finished their careers as Owls for the fencing program this season - Alexandra Keft, Kristen Kemnitzer and Victoria Suber.
Earning the Most Improved Award was one of those seniors, Kemnitzer, who fenced in 97 bouts this season and made her first-ever appearance at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional.
