UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - In the first day at the NCAA Championships, two members of the Temple fencing team sit in the top seven of their respective weapons after three rounds of competition. The Owls have two more rounds of round-robin play, with the top four finishers in each weapon moving on the the semifinals and finals.
In epee, Margherita Calderaro sits tied for fourth after winning 11 bouts while Sarah Park is in 16th place with six wins. Freshman Anastasia Yankovskiy is tied for 12th with six wins in foil.
