IRVING, Texas- After earning a clean-sheet against No. 10 Seton Hall Thursday, goalkeeper Eoin Gawronski has been honored by the American Athletic Conference as Goalkeeper of the Week. It is the redshirt freshman's third time claiming the award after winning twice during the 2020-21 season. He was named Second-Team All-Conference at the conclusion of last season, and became the second player in Temple history to win AAC Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year.
Gawronski played a key role in earning a 0-0 draw for Temple on Aug. 26. The keeper earned his third shutout in only eight starts for the Owls.
