PHILADELPHIA - Behind 16 points from sophomore Obi Enechionyia, Temple men's basketball won its home opener 69-50 against Delaware on Sunday evening. The Owls (2-3) led by double digits for the final 10 minutes, building up to their largest lead at the end of the game.
Enechionyia hit 6-of-8 from the field and career-high 4-of-6 from long range en route to his team-high 16 points, one off his career high. He also grabbed six boards and came up with two blocks. Senior Jaylen Bond scored 11 points, while senior Quenton DeCosey scored 10 and led Temple with eight rebounds.
