GREENVILLE, N.C. - It was a memorable homecoming for Temple standout Damian Dunn as the redshirt freshman guard, playing in front of family and fans from his hometown of Kinston, N.C., scored a game-high 26 points to lead Temple to a 71-63 win over East Carolina Wednesday at Minges Coliseum.
Dunn, who lives 30 miles from ECU, was playing on this court for the first time in his career. He made three-of-five from distance and 13-of-15 of his free throws in lifting the Owls to their fifth win in six games. Temple improves to 12-7 overall and 5-3 in the American Athletic Conference.
