The Owls lost their eighth consecutive game Sunday, falling to Drexel University 3-2.
On a cold, rainy Sunday afternoon at Buckley Field, the Dragons’ Mary Lynam scored on a penalty corner to break a 2-2 tie with eight minutes remaining. The loss was the Owls’ third-consecutive one-goal loss.
Temple (3-12, 0-2 Big East Conference) had nineteen shots, seven on target, compared to Drexel’s four shots.
“We didn’t deserve to win that game,” coach Marybeth Freeman said. “When you have that many opportunities up front, you have to be able to finish.”
Drexel scored on its first penalty corner two minutes into the game.
