PROVIDENCE, R.I. - After his career and record-setting performance in leading Temple men's basketball to an 89-80 upset of previously undefeated and eighth-ranked SMU, senior guard Devin Coleman has been named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week. The honor is the first-ever for Coleman, who was named to the conference's weekly honor roll earlier this season.
In the SMU win, Coleman shot a perfect 8-of-8 from the field including 7-of-7 from beyond the arc, finishing with a career and game-high 23 points. His three-point shooting effort tied the school record for 3-point percentage in a game set by Pepe Sanchez on Feb.
