PHILADELPHIA - After two straight home games had ended in last-second heartbreakers for Temple men's basketball, the third time was a charm as the Owls (9-9, 2-5) pulled ahead with 28 seconds left and the defense held up for a 59-58 victory over Tulsa (10-9, 3-4).

> Defense was the key for Temple all game long, as the Owls forced 18 turnovers and held Tulsa to a season-tying low of 58 points.
