PHILADELPHIA – Temple gymnastics' Daisy Todd has been named to the 2017-18 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area At-Large Team. The sophomore is one of twelve student-athletes selected to the team and just one of two Temple Owls selected. The team is voted on by the sports information offices of 30 area institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
Throughout the 2018 season, Todd earned three scores of 9.8 or higher on vault and two scores of 9.8 or higher on both the balance beam and uneven bars. The sophomore was named ECAC Gymnast of the Week for the week of March 13 after helping Temple to two record-breaking team totals of 195.
