PHILADELPHIA – After winning two gold medals last weekend in San Diego, the Temple heavyweights travel home to join the lightweights this weekend for the Kerr Cup Regatta. The Varsity Eight boat is looking to continue its winning streak as the boat has yet to lose a race this year while the Second Varsity Eight boat attempts to make it back-to-back victories.
The last time out at the Kerr Cup, the Owls managed to grab two medals: one gold and one silver. In the petite final, the Owls finished in 6:16.76, giving them a victory ahead of Army West Point, Rutgers, La Salle, Lehigh, and Villanova.
