PHILADELPHIA - After a year away from the water, Temple Men's Crew made history Saturday on the Schuylkill, winning its first-ever Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta's Men's Points Trophy. The Owls earned six medals, including three gold, in its nine entries and also combined with the women's rowing team to take home the overall points title for the second straight year.

> Graduate student Alex DeNolfo, racing for the first time all season, started things off with a fourth place finish in the men's collegiate single.
> Then it was the men's freshman/novice four with freshman Patrick Rogers stroking the Owls' to a bronze medal.
