NEW YORK – The bracket for the 2017 BIG EAST Women's Lacrosse Championship presented by Jeep is set, with back-to-back tourney champion Florida earning the top seed for a third consecutive year. Joining the Gators are second-seeded Georgetown, third-seeded Denver and fourth-seeded Temple. Villanova is serving as host of the conference tournament, set for May 4 and 6 at Villanova Stadium.
No. 2/2 Florida (15-2, 9-0 BIG EAST) topped NR/RV Georgetown (9-8, 7-2) on Saturday, 15-3, to lock up the No. 1 seed, and will face fourth-seeded Temple (13-4, 6-3) in Thursday's first semifinal at 4:30 p.m. (ET).
