PRINCETON, N.J. - When Blanca Fernandez toes the line at the NCAA Championships on Saturday, Nov. 21, she will do so having been unbeaten by any other runner during the 2015 season. Fernandez took first place for a sixth time this year on Friday, winning the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships in a time of 20:52.
"Blanca's race was just fantastic," said coach James Snyder. "It's been a progression throughout the entire year. She made the turn with 300 meters to go behind two other runners, and pulled away over the last 200 meters.
