After missing her entire freshman season with an ACL tear in 2013, Brenda McDermott then suffered complications and other setbacks that led to to her appearing in just seven total games over her first three years as an Owl. Despite thoughts of giving it all up, McDermott pushed through and became a standout and All-BIG EAST First Team selection in 2016, her fourth season. Back for a fifth year and leading the Owls to their best start in 19 years, McDermott and head coach Bonnie Rosen reflect on the journey that led her here.
