Ambler, Pa. – After jumping six spots in the national rankings, #17 Temple men's soccer earned its sixth consecutive win Wednesday afternoon with a 4-1 victory over Soccer Six rival La Salle. Currently standing at 7-0-1 this season, the Owls are off to their best start and their highest national ranking since 1985.
With today's win, the Owls have swept their city matchups moving into conference play.
"I'm really happy. Anytime you're playing the city schools and it's that rivalry, it's always a very competitive game," said head coach David MacWilliams. "To win three of those games, I am very happy.
