TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin's career in Fort Worth came to an end a game early after his arrest before the Alamo Bowl. But that blemish at the end does not erase Boykin's incredible productivity during his time in purple and black.
In two seasons starting for TCU, Boykin threw for 7,476 yards and was responsible for 81 combined rushing and passing touchdowns. Now that Boykin is pursuing his NFL dream, there is a huge hole for Gary Patterson and staff to fill on the TCU offense.
Now, as Patterson told SportsDay's Chuck Carlton, the decision will come down to who handles the offense best during the team's scrimmages.
