KaVontae Turpin will not have his legal issues resolved by TCU’s Pro Day on Friday, so he will not be eligible to take part in it, a source confirmed.
Turpin has two pending legal issues involving domestic violence incidents in New Mexico and Fort Worth. The New Mexico case had a pre-trial hearing on Monday, and another one is scheduled for April 18.
The Fort Worth case has been “pending” since Turpin was arrested on assault charges in late October.
Turpin has been training for a professional career at APEC in Fort Worth, and the gym could explore options of hosting it’s own “Pro Day” for Turpin in front of NFL scouts and executives.
