Roughly two weeks have elapsed since TCU football wrapped up spring practice, and as head coach Gary Patterson put it, plenty of work is still left to be done before the Horned Frogs are where they need to be at for their 2019 season-opener on Aug. 31.
Look no further than a nasty injury bug as the root cause -- one that began with a non-contact injury to defensive tackle Ross Blacklock last August and has since transpired into TCU nixing its annual spring scrimmage due to a lack of healthy bodies.
