TCU head coach Gary Patterson doesn’t plan to name a starting quarterback until preseason camp, he said Thursday.
Sophomore Foster Sawyer and Texas A&M transfer Kenny Hill are battling for the No. 1 spot this spring.
“I don’t think so unless coach (Sonny) Cumbie thinks differently,” Patterson said. “I think it’s best to have competition. Both Foster and Kenny are taking reps with the 1s. I expect that to be the case the rest of the spring and going into two-a-days.”
