Sometimes, it’s better to be lucky than good … and sometimes, even the best teams need that one game where they can look back and say “Man, we escaped in that one”.
The TCU Horned Frogs got that game out of the way Saturday when they came back to beat Texas Tech in a defensive battle 55-52. The Horned Frogs had the ball with 23 seconds to go, when quarterback Trevone Boykin completed a pass to Aaron Green for the four yard score.
But Green wasn’t the first one to touch the ball:
That pass put the finishing touches on a 750 yard offensive output for the Horned Frogs.
