Five starters did not make the trip to Lawrence for TCU Football, including rising star Quentin Johnston.
According to Star-Telegram reporter Drew Davison, the Horned Frogs will be without Quentin Johnston at wide receiver, as the true freshmen did not make the trip to Kansas for Saturday night’s game. Johnston has been one of Max Duggan’s top targets, collecting 14 receptions for 240 yards and a touchdown in his first season at TCU. Savion Williams is also being held out; though he has not had a catch as a receiver, his impact in the return game has been significant, especially when Derius Davis went down with an injury ahead of the game at West Virginia.
