Here are three quick takeaways from TCU's 63-56 win against Oklahoma State on Monday:
1. Must have been a heck of a halftime speech. TCU came out and knocked down 9 of 11 field goal attempts to start the second half -- a total 180 from its brutal first half (more on that below) -- which was a good enough run to catapult the Horned Frogs to a 41-36 lead heading into the 11:39 media timeout. It's amazing what making shots will do for a team's morale -- better energy on the defensive end; players step confidently into their shot attempts.
