Here are three takeaways from TCU's 67-62 win over Texas Tech in the first round of the Big 12 tournament.
1. Two halves, two stories. If TCU was going to stand any chance in this game, sophomore guard Chauncey Collins needed to have a big game. While his teammates struggled to score in the early going, Collins made shot TCU back into the game after Tech took an early lead. Collins made 4-5 shots from 3-point range in the first half and came flying in with a sick poster dunk to announce TCU's presence, coming down so hard that he even banged himself on the court.
