1. Parade of turnovers swings the momentum. The Horned Frogs' finish to the first half was disastrous. Both teams were plagued by poor shooting in the early going -- at the 12:06 media timeout: Iowa State was 4 for 12 from the floor; TCU 5 for 16 -- but the Horned Frogs managed a 17-11 lead almost halfway through the half. Then, at the 10:08 mark, Malique Trent (more on him below) traveled on a drive, starting a brutal stretch of ball security for TCU: nine turnovers in a span of six minutes, 24 seconds.
