One of TCU’s less memorable moments of the 2017-18 season was a 48-24 halftime deficit against Texas Tech on home court, a game which the Horned Frogs lost, 83-71.
The scenery looked a little bit different nearly a year later on Monday as TCU and No. 16 Texas Tech took the court at United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock as part ESPN’s Big Monday lineup, but the feeling was all-too familiar as a 16-point halftime deficit proved to far too big of a hole for the Horned Frogs to climb out of en route to a 84-65 defeat.
Here are three takeaways as TCU fell to 15-5 (3-4 Big 12) on the season, continuing a saga of road woes for Jamie Dixon & Co.
