FORT WORTH -- It didn't have the comfort of a 31-point victory over West Virginia a week ago, but TCU basketball remained perfect at Schollmaier arena in Big 12 play this season with a narrow 65-61 victory over Texas on Wednesday.
What was once an a double-digit lead for TCU in the second half was trimmed only three points in the final seconds of play, but the Horned Frogs were ultimately able to hold on for the win -- propelled by some late-game heroics from junior guard Desmond Bane -- as they bested Shaka Smart and the Longhorns for yet another year
