TCU football had high hopes in 2018 after entering the season ranked No. 16 in the preseason AP Top 25 poll, but the Horned Frogs never saw their dreams materialize -- thanks to injuries and more -- en route to a 7-6 finish with a win over Cal in the Cheez-It Bowl.
As the page flips to 2019, Gary Patterson will have plenty of holes to fill on defense, and another offseason quarterback battle looms following Shawn Robinson's decision to transfer to Missouri in December. Nonetheless, there is hope on the horizon that the next installment of TCU football will give fans far more to cheer about than this past fall.
