A night after the highest of highs, TCU baseball hit a low.
The Texas Longhorns, who saw the Horned Frogs rally from a two-run, ninth-inning deficit on Friday night, left no doubt on Saturday at Lupton Stadium.
Texas jumped on starter Jake Eissler in the first inning and never let up en route to a 13-1 win. Zach Zubia, who had a two-run homer robbed by TCU center fielder Johnny Rizer in the fourth inning on Friday, left no doubt on a two-run homer to left to start the scoring.
“We’re looking for a lot of answers on the pitching staff outside of about four or five pitcher,” TCU coach Jim Schlossnagle said.
